Japanese folk singer Kousuke Atari is expected to bring his warm and tender voice to China. On 26th June, he will hold a concert at Nanshan Grand Theatre.
About Atari Kousuke
Pure and lucid, his voice has been hailed as "the voice of the musical interment, with the magic to soften a sad soul” by his fans. Known for his unique singing, which combines the Japanese traditional “Island Style” which originates from Japan’s Ryukyus, and the modern pop style, Kousuke learnt it by himself since he was in high school. The Island Style shifts quickly between the chest voice and falsetto when singing, most notably in the female singing performance. Kousuke developed it in a male voice, thus gaining the nickname “the prince of Island style songs”.
