The 1st Shenzhen International Culture Wine & Food Festival (ICWFF) will be held at Shekou Taizi Bay from November 13th to the 17th.

The exhibition space measures an area of 86,000 square meters. There will be 9 national villages (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the U.K., and China) and 6 pavilions showcasing excellence (Bier Festival – Oktober Fest, Grand crus, exceptional gastronomy, sweet wines, dessert, cocktails, spirits, champagne and other sparkling wines, and more than 20 starred chefs).



1) Grand Opening

4) Artists & Shows


a) Bagpipes



Bagpipes are a type of musical instrument called aerophones which use enclosed reeds fed from a constant reservoir of air in the form of a bag. The Scottish and Irish Great Highland bagpipe (known in Ireland as the War pipes) and Irish Uilleann Pipes are most popular throughout the world.

b) Pixels



The Pixels are a group of acrobats who combine technology with their performance. The group from Switzerland use animations to create any thing including logos, brand names, languages, pictures, etc. They have brought the art of lights and shadows to clubs, bars, exhibitions, large conferences, and commercial advertisements.

c) Huang Fengrong



Huang Fengrong was born in 1977 and started painting in 1997. He quickly began to learn about new painting forms. After years of endeavoring, he found a way to integrate painting with performance and his works have since been collected by many politicians, stars, and entrepreneurs.

d) Facundo & Trio



Facudo Garde is an outstanding jazz pianist. He studied under Tato Finocci, who is an Argentine Tango master, and finished his further study at Berklee College of Music. He has performed in Tortoni, a famous bar at Buenosu Airesu, and Teatro Argentina many times. He also has held tour performances with the famous Argentine Tango singer Cacho Castaña. In 2010 he began to perform with modern tango violinists, and other artists, in hotels such as the China Shenzhen Intercontinental Hotel, the Marco Polo Hotels in Shenzhen, the Westin Hotel Beijing, and The St. Regis Shenzhen etc.

e) Yuliet



Yuliet Lamb was born in Cuba. After 8 years of studying in Municipal school and at Cuba's National University of Arts she became a professional dancer. She was a choreographist and dance tutor in her 10 years of dance life. She is increasingly skilled in Rumba, Mambo, Chacha, Jazz, Tango, Flamenco, and Cumbia dance.

f) Toni's Beerband



Toni's Beerband was founded in 2013 and they have traveled to beer festivals across the world. The band is made up of four musicians.

g) Shenzhen Latin Band



The Shenzhen Latin Band is made up of 8 musicians. Their performance will take you across South America as 3 professional dancers perform with them each night.

h) Made in France



Made in France is an outstanding French band. They always show up in musical performances or programs around China. They represent French music and culture and the works they play are always works of famous French singers such as Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavouz, Mistinguette, Zaz, etc.

i) French Cancan



The can-can is a high-energy and physically demanding music hall dance, traditionally performed by a chorus line of female dancers who wear costumes with long skirts, petticoats, and black stockings. The main features of the dance are the lifting and manipulation of their skirts, with high kicking and suggestive, provocative body movements.

j) Diego Rodrigo Ortiz



Paraguayan guitarist, singer, composer, and arranger Diego Rodrigo Ortiz has nearly 20 years experience in business related to music even though he is only 26. His works cover Spanish songs, Italian songs, and Portuguese songs.

5) Contests


a) The 2015 International professional bartender China final Competition
The 2015 International professional bartender China final Competition will be held during the 5-day festival. It is one of the most important parts of the ICWFF. Bartenders from all regions of China will gather in Shenzhen.

The awards for the competition are as follows:

Champion: Trophy/International certificate of bartenders/10,000RMB
Runner-up: Trophy/International certificate of bartenders/5,000RMB
Second runner-up: Trophy/International certificate of bartenders/2,500RMB
Additionally, 6 individual awards and a surprise award have been set.

b) Bottle photo contest
This contest will be held every day during ICWFF for photographers and shutterbugs, and rewards will be awarded everyday.

6) Beers & Cocktails & Spirits provided during ICWFF
During the 5 days, visitors can have a taste of every kind of beer brought in from Germany. The brand of German beers you can taste at the Oktober Fest pavilion includes Bitburger, Sortenlogo PremiumPils, Oettinger, Maisel’s Weisse, Damm, Carlsberg, Guinness, Budweiser, LEFFE, HOEGAARDEN, Erdinger, Tiger, Heineken, Haller Löwenbrau.

The cocktails & spirits pavilion will provide Vervenne, liqueur, Rhum, Jin, Rum, Cocktail, brandy, Armagnac, Vodka, Tequila, red wine, Cognac, Sirup, Grand Marnier, Spirits, Cognac, Whisky, Spiritueux.

7) Tasting feast

a) 40 starred chefs will show their excellent cooking skills from midday to midnight and accept challenges during the 5 days.

b) You can have a taste of different kinds of snacks including potato salad, tomato salad, pasta salad, French Fries, Currywurst, Frankfurter Wurst, Bretzel, and Sauerkraut in the Oktober Fest pavilion.

c) A VIP Banquet will be held in the evening. 60 VIP guests will be treated each day.

d) Maison Délices will make ice creams and smoothies made from fresh fruits on site. Chocolates will also be provided on site by Edel Chocolate.
