Shenzhen Piano Music Festival 2013 is going to kick off on 2nd May, and will run for a month, according to the organizer. The event will be attended by famous pianists such as German pianist Tim Ovens, Russian pianist Oxana Yablonskaya, and Chinese pianist Wenfang Han.
The event will consist of a series of activities, including an opening ceremony, a closing ceremony, a free concert, four chamber concerts at Shenzhen Concert Hall and Shenzhen Grand Theater, and a selection of one hundred piano accompanists out of one thousand candidates.
During the event, one hundred youngsters will perform with great pianists for three successive weeks at three commercial plazas in the city. The best three will get the chance to visit Austria after the event.
