As the name suggests, The Terrace is a second-storey club at Seaworld in Shenzhen’s Shekou district. With about half of The Terrace on an actual outdoor terrace, this place is a very popular live music joint among the Shekou crowd.
Sitting out on The Terrace’s terrace offers a nice view of Seaworld, a giant ship-converted-hotel, and the hustle-and-bustle of the nightlife below. The biggest draw The Terrace offers is probably its house band. A mostly Filipino ensemble, this group plays all the rockin’ classics from the last couple decades, and they are really well-received out here.
There are several other bar options in the area, but only The Terrace has a big outdoor area, where you can still hear the live music and order drinks without being pushed around on a dance floor. It’s also a decent Thai restaurant during the day.
